How to get apps from (3.x)

This guide is only for 3.x.  If you have anything 2.x, please use this guide instead.  If you have 4.x, then there should be another tutorial out there on the web, I don’t update this site anymore, so I won’t make a new tutorial.

First of all, we don’t support pirating at all.  In fact, I believe Cydia even yells at you for doing this, because the hacker community is different from the pirating one.  Then again, users have no way of testing an app before installing it, so perhaps you can justify this as simply making up for a flaw in the system.  Or maybe you are just a pirate.  That being said… this is how you get apps from in iPhone OS 3.x  (This works on all iDevices).

  1. Open Cydia
  2. Go to, Manage (Located on the bottom bar)
  3. Go to, Sources (Second option)
  4. “Click” Edit, in the top right
  5. “Click” Add in the top left
  6. Type in: Hit, “Add Source.”  (Cydia will yell at you for being a pirate.  Add the source anyway.)  Let Cydia update itself, then hit “Return to Cydia.”
  7. 7:  Hit Done in the top.
  8. At this point, the repo should be listed under “Entered by User.”  Enter the repo by touching (clicking) on it.
  9. You now should install a few items.  The obvious one is Installous, that will allow you to download and install cracked apps.  I suggest you install Hackulous Security, and AppSync for OS 3.x (where x is 0 or 1, depending on if you have 3.0 or 3.1)  To install, simply touch on the item and in the top right corner hit “Install” and then “Confirm” (Also in the corner.)  If you want to install them all at once, you can add them to a Queue by hitting the “Cancel/Queue” button after hitting “Install.”
